Slip N Slide Fun

The week before school let out it was HOT. And the pool was only open on weekends at that point. So I ran to our favorite store with the bullseye on the front and bought a slip n slide. Here is the thing I have learned about these over the years.

1. They kill the grass fast. This year I left it up for only 4 days and the grass is completely dead underneath.

2. They don't work like the box shows. At least at our house we do not have enough water pressure to make all the sprinklers work. Usually only the bottom and half way up one side.

3. This means I have to step on it at the bottom so that it will spray out the top like the kids want it to.

4. Kids love Slip N Slides for about 30 minutes then lose interest. Might want to do it the next day and might not.

5. Too much of a pain to store. Probably won't want to do it again this summer anyway. Just throw it out and buy a new cheap one next year.

6. $17 for four days worth of water fun is reasonable.
