Care Package: Take 2

It’s time to send a care package again. This time the shopping was not filled with joy and anticipation. We are still waiting in limbo to find out if we will get to bring our little “F” home. This HUGE question lingers over the top of every thought every day. It’s probable that we will know the answer before the package is delivered, but after it leaves our hands. As we wait we wonder:


What if the answer is yes?

                 Oh the joy to think of her big brown eyes looking at her pretty clothes and shoes.

                 The elation we would feel to know she is coming home.

What if the answer is no?

                Who will our little Maya be?

                How old will she be?

So we have put together a fun package. But will it actually be a gift for our daughter? Or a gift to a beautiful little girl we have been praying about for 6 months that will be joining another family? Should we include pictures of the family? Or would that be cruel if the answer turns out to be no?
