Soccer

The kids both had games this weekend. It was very hot, in the 90's, but they both did well. Evan played goalie the first quarter and then sat out and then played in the field the third quarter. He did not score, but played his little heart out, twice dribbling the ball from one goal all the way to the other.

Gabi's team tied 1-1. They all played really well considering the sun was blazing by this point. She tried her best and came the closest I have ever seen to scoring. But she was really pooped by the end and was just doing her obligatory jog behind the crowd that has the ball. She moved up an age group and is playing on a full field for the first time. We only had 2 subs and the team is all tired as they adjust to running this much.
