So every year our church has kids camp the third week of July. This year was Kids Camp Adventure Island. Think of it as extreme VBS. We had around 800 kids this year. My team was 1st graders. We had 23 kids. We had a great time. The dramas were amazing this year. Notice the pirate ship coming out of the front of the building. If you click on the pictures they enlarge. The first day there were pirates from the dramas up there. One day the stage was a play, Thursday it was a pirate ship, and Friday it was an island. Gabi got chosen to go on stage for one of the Fear Factor games we have at the end of each day. Its kids versus adults and if the kids win then every camper gets a prize. She had to eat monkey brains. (colored ramen noodles). At church today she said that was her favorite part of camp. The last day of camp is always crazy hair day. This year we did crazy pirate hair. Evan has no hair so we just went with the bandana. Not a great look for him but what are you gonna do. We get so excited for camp every year that we are all in kind of a sad state now that its over.
