We are back. We had a blast. There is nothing better than spending a week watching your kids have fun!
Evan learned to ride a two wheeler!
All the kids loved the beach. Gabi and Evan rode the waves alot. On our last day Evan made a friend that was around 10 or 12 and he taught Evan to dive thru the waves.
The sand was Andy's favorite part. Although he thought it was hysterical if you carried him out into the waves and screamed when they crashed into you.
I have to say their ultimate favorite of the vacation was the lazy river at the hotel. Evan and Gabi lived in this pool all week. And Andy would run and jump in and then float away down the current. Quite Fun!!! Andy was a maniac at the pools. He would just run and jump right in the deep end or the lazy river. He had his swim vest on and would pop back up and then sort of doggie paddle/float back to the edge. Because of the spectacle of seeing a baby jumping in the deep end and also because of his habit of saying hi to everyone he passes, everyone at the hotel knew his name. It was funny and a little unnerving when he would jump in and someone would say "there goes Andy" Or three kids swimming by would say "Hi Andy" as they passed. Or the old women at the beach would say "How are you today Andy" when he walked by. We were so busy making sure he didn't drown himself that we didn't get much video of him jumping. Generally we placed one of us in each pool so when he decided to run away and jump in the other pool we didn't have to jump out and chase him. We did get this one of Chad catching him. But don't be fooled he would jump whether you were there or not!
Kites were flying high!
Of course the best part was spending time with family!
