Gabi started first grade today. She only looked back because I asked her to wave goodbye when it was time to go in. She was so excited she could hardly stand it. She met up with some friends from last year and met some new friends too. This was her report.
It was awesome. We went to gym class. Mr Souder took us to see the playground. (Different from kindergarten) We ate lunch in the cafeteria and had a looong recess. On the big playground. All the graders were there!! (she means 1st-4th) I wrote my homework in my homework notebook. It says you have to sign all the papers. I can't wait until tomorrow. Can we walk home with Xander? Let's go!
I thought I would be sad, but her enthusiasm was contagious. I am very proud!
