Little Man on the Big Stage
Andy's Christmas performance was last Friday. Chad's whole family was in town to see him sing and have an early family Christmas. Andy is a crazy, happy, a little too energetic boy. Each day in practice for the last two months, he would sing loud and proud and dance and do the motions and run up and get a kiss from Miss Joy after each song. Unfortunately he HATES to wear decent clothes. Anything other that wind pants and a T-shirt are considered church clothes and he throws a fit about wearing them. The only thing he hates more than dress clothes are Coats, hats and mittens. You might as well call the child protective agency to come take him away, if you try to put dress clothes and coats on the child. So his program was at 7:00. I talked all week about how he was going to wear his puppy sweater and take it off when we got home. I had him OK with that. I left early to go play my part as teacher at the show. Chad was left behind to dress him. Apparently I never mentioned to the boy that he would have to wear Khaki pants. Oh My the horror. So he shows up to the program meaner than a snake. Would not sing. Would not behave, he kept standing in front of my class to be with me instead of with his class. So you couldn't see my students who actually were singing and doing motions. The pictures are still cute. Again, we need a video camera so the video stinks. I wish you all could have seen him in practice!!

This was the only motion he did the whole performance and he did it through the whole song.
