Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend. Kristi, Taylor, Nanni and Pops came to visit on Thursday. Friday morning the girls all went shopping to find Taylor a prom dress. The very first dress she tried on was the perfect one for her. But we kept shopping all day just to be sure. This is not it:
We went to King of Prussia mall. We had a great time. The boys went to Toys R Us. They were going to go practice baseball afterwards, but Pops and Evan bought a big giant Lego set and spent the rest of the day putting it together. They worked so hard and were very proud of the end result! We had cooked a chicken all day and had chicken and dumplings for dinner. Saturday we got up and had a big breakfast with Nanni's chip beef gravy and biscuits. Then after hitting a friends' garage store to shop for jewelry and purses, Kristi and Taylor headed home to spend Easter day with their boys.

The rest of us went to the park to enjoy the beautiful day. We practiced baseball and softball and tried out the new equipment on the renovated playground. We then got Philly cheesesteaks to eat while we watched the Final Four. Sunday Chad had to run the lights for all the services at church so he had to be there from 7:00 until 1:45. So the rest of us got up and found the Easter baskets. The big kids were thrilled with their baskets. All Andy has said about it is "that bunny didn't bring me a Bumblebee". Apparently the Easter bunny forgot to bring him a transformer. We took our time getting ready and then went out for brunch. After brunch we went to church and then stayed for the Easter egg hunt. We went home and had a nice relaxing sunny afternoon and then ate an awesome ham dinner.
Monday morning Nanni and Pops left us and reality set in. I spent the day working in the yard. Then we all went back to school and work on Tuesday.
