The week we got back from vacation it was time for Kids Camp at our church. This year the theme was Wipe Out. Over 750 kids attended the three day camp.
There was a great drama each day. The teen in the drama learned lessons about following the rules, obeying parents and being forgiven. There were shark attacks and surf competions. There was an obstacle course, rope swing, zip line, water slide, dead fish relays, and water balloon sling shots.
The staff and volunteers at our church really blew it out of the water this year. Literally. Of course the last day of camp was crazy hair day.
I had a team of 15 second graders. I had a great time with them all. It was an amazing week for everyone except Andy. He was away from his Mommy. The music was too loud. He doesn't like getting wet with clothes on. The dead fish was gross. You get the idea. But his hair looked great!
