Labor Day Weekend

We had a great trip to NY for Labor Day Weekend.  Oma and Opa wanted to treat the family, especially all of the grandkids, to a special end of summer treat.
We spent Saturday at the local amusement park.  We started out with a nice picnic lunch in the shade.  Then the kids all wanted to hit the water slides.  It wasn't too crowded and they were actually able to ride a lot.  Andy rode the all of the tube slides with me and loved every second of it.  Chad and Daddy were brave enough to try the very high straight down water slide.  Gabi and OPa rode a bunch of slides together too.
Then we all moved on to the regular rides.  The kids had a blast and they were able to ride everything they wanted.  It was great.

The next day we all met up and went to the local children's museum.  This was extra fun for all the boys because the museum had a video games through the ages exhibit as well as a superhero exhibit.
Gabi was excited to return to the story book world.  Chad loved the Sesame Street exhibit, especially the Big Bird parts.  They all had lots of hands on fun with their cousin.  I enjoyed the time holding my newest nephew!!

We ended the weekend with a nice dinner and fun at Uncle Jon and Aunt Stephanie's house.
Very special thank you to OMa and OPa for a special weekend!!!
