We had a wonderful holiday filled with love, laughter, giving, playing, vomiting and nebulizers. Its a good thing our family loves us because it would seem we now bring horrific germs with us where ever we go. The friday before Christmas we decided to drive to NC after work. After leaving home at 4:30 we were due to arrive around 1 am. Unfortunately, about midnight, very close to the NC border Evan woke up and started crying. He then puked everywhere. Thinking it was carsickness we continuted on to Nanni's house. Somewhere along the way he threw up again. We got into Nanni's and threw him in the shower. We were all about to hit the sack when Gabi announced she was sick. More vomiting. This virus turned out to be short lived. First you vomit, then you suffer with a fever for about 12 hours, then you recover. Good thing, because it managed to get everyone we came in contact with except Andy and Dylan. It hit most of us adults and older children on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And still Scott's family came to share in the holiday, and they even still said the loved us when we left. Andy was recovering from RSV and still taking his albuterol with the nebulizer. Don't know if that somehow saved him. Despite all that, we really did have a good time. There was much card playing and Clue DVD games. Everyone tried to rock out with Guitar Hero. I love my family and am glad they love us germs and all. Knock on wood, our family seems healthy for the first time since fall. Andy is even breathing clear. Hopefully this can continue through spring!

One night after we got home Gabi announced she had a performance for us. The bear is a cutout that she was supposed to decorate for homework. The glasses? I don't know... my daughter is very strange!
