We try to do something special with the kids on Friday nights. Gabi has named this "family fun night". Her first question on Friday is usually "What are we doing for Family fun night tonight?" Most of the time this simply means we play board games with them. We would usually put Andy to bed and then get out the games. Well, a couple weeks ago we decided he has gotten old enough to join in the games. So we tried to pick a game that he would be able to play and would be interested in. We chose Trouble. He had a great time for about ten minutes. Have you ever played this game with four players? It took us well over an hour to complete the game and we were all soooo done by that point. But it was fun in the beginning. And listening to Andy "Woo Hoo" each time he had a turn was worth it all. Chad got the Woo Hoo on video, I will have to get him to download it to my computer.

Our current favorite is Apples to Apples Jr. We modify it for those learning to read but even Connor loves it.
