Leaves

Are all oldest children as grown up as mine? Gabi has been dying to jump in the leaves this fall. but our Maple was hanging on tight to its leaves. They finally fell a couple days ago. After school yesterday Gabi went into the shed, got out the rake and made a great big pile. Then she gracefully invited her brothers to jump with her. Gabi makes me smile every day with not only her maturity, but the loving way she interacts with the boys. Especially Andy. She helps me each morning. Whether it is keeping an eye on him, watching Curious George with him, putting on his shoes, and lately even taking him potty or helping him get dressed. She does it all with no expectation of reward. I am so blessed to have her in my life!
