First swimming of the summer

OK so its not really summer yet. And the water is not really warm yet. But kids don't care. We joined the pool down the road and went swimming yesterday. Gabi and Evan were fish. Completely ignoring the cold for about an hour. Andy resumed his complete fearlessness from last summer. He was jumping off the edge and going under and then walking up the steps to do it again. At one point we were in the deeper pool where they could not touch. Some friends were there and the kids were throwing our torpedos for Gabi and Evan to dive and retrieve. We lost one and started looking for it. I left Andy on the edge with the other mother while I went deeper to look for it. I came back empty handed so she got her goggles and jumped in to look herself. For a split second we both took our eyes off Andy and sure enough heard the splash as he jumped in. We made it back to him at the same time and pulled him out. Scary enough to stop two mothers hearts, but didn't phase Andy in the least. He held his own staying up and then he didn't even cough. Being the parent of a child with no fear is a difficult and 24 hour a day job!!
