Uncle Steve's house - Boise Idaho

When we arrived in Idaho we spent two days visiting with my Uncle Steve and Aunt Vivian. They live outside of Boise in Nampa, Idaho. We had a great time while we were there. Uncle Steve was very involved with the kids playing Wii sports and taking them out in the yard for baseball lessons. Uncle Steve- Evan is now hitting great. We just need to work on catching in a glove. Any suggestions? Aunt Vivian showed great hospitality, having the house prepared for kids to play with lots of available toy cars and allowing the kids the run of the household.

Three other members of the family were also of great interest to my kiddos. Cannon, Music and Lyrics, the cats. My kids have never shown a great interest in animals before but they fell in love with these cats. Especially Evan. He got very attached to the Lyrics who was a small kitten. He played with him and cuddled him and just loved on him all day. When it was time to leave Evan spent a long time cuddled up with Lyrics talking to him. We couldn't hear the conversation but when he came out he said "I will really miss Lyrics. I love him. I will pray for him every night!"

Andy loved all the cars around to play with and if you stand on Uncle Steve's deck and look over their fence directly behind them is a farmette, complete with horses and billy goats. Andy loved to take people outside to look at "my horsey" and the billy goats. I did not know about the goats and the first time he was telling me it took quite awhile for me to translate. Looking back he was clearly saying lets go see the billy goats. I just didn't know that was in his vocabulary and was trying to turn it into something else.

Gabi stayed busy showing off her Wii bowling skills and talking with Aunt Vivian. While we were there, Daddy arrived on the same plane with Aunt Kristi and Taylor. We were able to share some special time with them as well.

Now that we were not in a campground we were able to use our 4th of July sparklers too.
