Trophy day

Today was Gabi's last day of basketball. They had a fun day instead of playing games. They started by warming up in lines with their teams. A coach and some teenage players led them in defense, rebound, fire feet drills. Very cool to see so many little girls doing these moves.

They then held relay races. They did some where they had to run and get the ball and then dribble, one where they had to dribble down with one hand and back with the other and put on a big shirt in between. One where they had to pass the ball thru the legs of the whole team and then the last person would bring the ball to the front. They had one contest where they had to see how may balls they could get on one of the coaches in one minute. Gabi's team got 14. The winning team got 16, because their coach had on sweat pants (too which Gabi's team all screamed giggly "disgusting!"). Then they all got their trophies, T-shirts that say Spring Ford Basketball The Price for Victory is Hard Work and sat down on the bleachers for pictures. It was a great way to end a fun season.
